The VFS offers the performance of an independent front suspension while retaining value and drastically improving ride quality compared to a traditional trailing-arm suspension.
The design of the VFS four-bar linkage controls the front of the coach to keep it from “diving” its nose down during hard braking. Instead, the suspension moves straight up and down like an IFS suspension, practically eliminating “brake dive.”
VFS uses a steering architecture and bell crank that drastically reduce bump steer, similar to a traditional trailering-arm front suspension. This optimized steering geometry further reduces bump steer to virtually zero.
The V-series Suspension System utilizes the V-Link (VFS) and V-Blade (V-Ride) assembly design for superior roll stability and more predictable handling in all road conditions — giving motorhome owners a confident driving experience.
PATENTED LONG-LIFE BUSHINGS
Our proprietary bushings are designed for high-performance coach applications and are made from AISI 4140 Chromoly (chromium-molybdenum alloy steel) for high strength and durability. Durability tested for over 150,000 miles with zero signs of wear, they outperform the standard bushings used in competitor suspensions.
U-SHAPED ASSEMBLY
The patented crimped and welded transverse beam is integrated with the trailing arm to form a single-piece U-shaped assembly, enhancing stability at all speeds.
